The Invisible Man | Reklamefoto
Hallais!

Dedicated to the 30s
This is a new series I’ve thrown myself out into and even though I might not stick 100% to the headline but try to stay roughly around that era. As usual Mats Heitmann is bringing his awesome hairstyling skills to this and we’ve already got one shoot under our belt. The two images below are the first two from this shoot and series. We stayed in the studio for this one, but captured a few images with placing the models into a location image in mind.
The next shoot will be after the easter holidays and hopefully in the beautiful Brittania Hotel
anywho, hope you like ‘em!

What I’ve been up to lately
Hey,
doesn’t look like it’s too easy posting large albums in an easy way here, therefore I have made albums from the trip on facebook and I’ll make a selection of fave’s on my website: http://www.kihlephoto.no
I’ve been back for a month now and started shooting for a couple of fun projects and had the pleasure of shooting images of the band “Inman Hill”. You can check out their music on iTunes or Spotify, and follow them on Twitter or their Facebook page
In addition to shooting personal projects I’m out and about trying to hook up with advertising companies to get a few commercial jobs.
Please check out my new blog at http://kihlephoto.tumblr.com
this blog is so quick and easy to update and therefore is updated far more often than this one with all kind of random stuff.
anywho…. back to retouching
here are a few shots from a shoot I had with the talented stylist Mats Heitmann:

OI Bridal show from Frederick Kihle on Vimeo.
I had the pleasure of following hair stylists from OI Hår og Velværesenter a whole day as they prepared 25 beautiful girls for a bridal show. These images captured in the Royal Garden hotel in Trondheim, Norway are trying to show the amount of work put into a show like this. Hope you like it!

Sunday shoots
Photoshoots are a great way to spend a Sunday, and that’s just what I did! Thanks to the models; Maria Hagen and Arv Breistøl, the stylist; Mats Heitmann, Marias MUA and Location coordinator; Jack-Ivar Bøhn. Here’s a test shot of Arv and me:
Although the word photoshoot sounds like a big deal, it doesn’t have to be. I discover new cool things every time I get together with a model or friend, even if it’s just walking around town with no plan and no external lighting. Natural lighting with a reflector and perhaps a diffuser is enough to creating absolutely gorgeous light so don’t always feel the need to bring as much equipment as possible.
Go back to basics every now and again and just have fun.
PSTEREO ’10
The PSTEREO festival this year was awesome (as it is every year!!) This was the festivals fourth year and it’s just getting better and better
If you haven’t yet experienced it, you really have to go next year. In addition to a feelgood vibe, happy people and a great venue, they get a hold of some sweet artists such as Robyn, Dumdum Boys, Teddybears, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, Åge Aleksandersen, Band Of Skulls and Yacht & The Straight Gaze to name a few from this years festival. It was my third year as a photographer here and I felt it was about time to post some images, so here’s a small selection
